My name is Sam, I’m a 20 year old 3rd year product design student at ArtEZ Arnhem, NL. I mainly focus on creating footwear, accessories and wearables. These are designed and created using a combination of digital and analog workflows. When working digitally I make use of Rhinoceros to work in 3D. Using this program I create models for 3D printing, I have over 3 years in 3D printing experience and work with the more common FDM technique but also with Resin based printers. Traditional techniques of footwear production are also in my skill set. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
After finishing my HAVO in Amsterdam, where I grew up, I had a gap year where I explored design. In 2020 I started the study Product Design at ArtEZ University of Arts Arnhem in The Netherlands. I’m a maker, I design during the making process. I know how most common machinery works and have a good skillset in sewing.<\/p>\n\n\n
